The issue

The lower tie rod arms on certain axles were not induction hardened during manufacture. Without the induction hardening process being performed, the tie rod arm may fatigue. A fatigue failure of the tie rod arm may result in a loss of vehicle steering control that can possibly result in a crash without warning. Correction: Dealers will replace the lower tie rod arms.

Les bras inférieurs de barre d'accouplement de certains essieux n'ont pas été trempés par induction au cours de la fabrication. Si c'est le cas, les bras de barre d'accouplement pourraient se briser par fatigue. Si cela se produisait et que les bras se cassaient, le conducteur pourrait perdre le contrôle de son véhicule, ce qui pourrait possiblement occasionner un accident. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les bras inférieurs de barre d'accouplement.
