The issue
On certain vehicles equipped with a Caterpillar C15 engine, the Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) oil line may wear against the P-clip retaining the oil line. An oil leak could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Caterpillar dealers will replace the VVA oil line with an updated version.

Sur certains véhicules munis d'un moteur Caterpillar C15, la canalisation d'huile du système de calage variable des soupapes pourrait s'user sur l'attache en P qui retient la canalisation d'huile. Une fuite d'huile pourrait provoquer un incendie, ce qui pourrait endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires Caterpillar devront remplacer la canalisation d'huile du système de calage variable des soupapes par une canalisation à jour.
