The issue

NOTE: VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH FEDERAL MOGUL SIGNAL-STAT TURN SIGNAL SWITCHES. THE WIRES THAT CORRESPOND TO THE VEHICLE'S REAR TURN SIGNALS MAY HAVE BEEN REVERSED WHEN INSTALLED IN THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR. A SWITCH MANUFACTURED WITH THIS DEFECT WILL CAUSE THE REAR TURN SIGNALS TO FLASH OPPOSITE FROM THE DIRECTION INTENDED BY THE DRIVER. CORRECTION: VEHICLES WILL BE INSPECTED AND, IF NECESSARY, SIGNAL SWITCHES WILL BE REPLACED.

Nota : Vise les véhicules munis de l’interrupteur de clignotants Signal-Star de Federal Mogul. Les câbles associés aux clignotants arrière du véhicule peuvent avoir été inversés lors de l’installation sur le connecteur électrique. Un interrupteur comportant un tel défaut fera fonctionner le clignotant arrière opposé à celui de la direction que l’on veut indiquer. Correction: Les véhicules devront être inspectés et l’interrupteur des clignotants remplacé le cas échéant.
