The issue

On certain vehicles, the double check valve disc incorporated into the brake manifold dash valve can become brittle over time and crack. If this condition exists and there is a single point failure in either the primary or secondary air system, loss of all service braking could result without warning with the potential for a vehicle crash. Correction: Manifold dash valve will be replaced.

Sur certains véhicules, le disque du double clapet incorporé au robinet de freinage à main peut devenir cassant avec le temps et se fissurer. Si c’est le cas et qu’une panne survient en un point unique du circuit d’air comprimé primaire ou secondaire, il se peut que les freins de service deviennent complètement inopérants et qu’un accident s’ensuive. Correction : Le robinet de freinage à main devra être remplacé.
