The issue

On certain vehicles, the spring in the cam chain tension adjuster can break. This can cause excessive slack in the cam chain and allow the cam chain to jump to the wrong position, causing severe engine damage and sudden engine failure. Sudden engine failure while riding can cause rear wheel lockup and loss of vehicle control. Correction: Screw-type cam chain tension adjuster will be replaced with a ratchet-type cam chain tension adjuster.

Sur certains véhicules, le ressort du tendeur de chaîne à came peut briser. Il se peut donc que la chaîne prenne trop de jeu et saute à la mauvaise position, causant des dommages importants et une panne de moteur qui bloquera subitement la roue arrière; le conducteur risque alors de perdre la maîtrise de sa moto. Correction : Le tendeur de chaîne à came à vis devra être remplacé par un tendeur à rochet.
