The issue
Certain vehicles do not comply with the requirements of CMVSS. 105 - Hydraulic Brake Systems. The Meritor Wabco hydraulic ABS diagnostic system may not detect an extreme wheel sensor air gap that affects the generation or transmission of response or control signals in the antilock brake system. Correction: The ECU controller will be replaced with a new controller which has updated software which can detect an excessive air gap thereby correcting the potential non compliance.

Certains véhicules ne satisfassent pas aux exigences de la NSVAC 105 - Systèmes de freins hydrauliques. Il se peut que le système de diagnostic ABS hydraulique Meritor Wabco ne détecte pas, au niveau du capteur de roue, une distance d'écartement extrême qui peut avoir une incidence sur l'émission ou la transmission des signaux de réponse ou de commande dans le système de freinage antiblocage. Correction : Le contrôleur du bloc de commande électronique devra être remplacé par un nouveau dont le logiciel mis à jour peut détecter les distances d'écartement excessives, corrigeant ainsi la non-conformité potentielle.
