The issue
On certain vehicles equipped with Am-Safe safety belt assemblies, the buckle and connector may unlatch during a collision. Serious injury or death could occur if the vehicle occupant is not properly restrained. Correction: Dealers will inspect belt assemblies and replace if necessary.

Sur certains véhicules dotées de ceintures de sécurité fabriquées par Am-Safe, la boucle et la fiche peuvent se défaire lors d'un accident. L'occupant peut alors être grièvement blessé ou trouver la mort s'il n'est pas bien retenu. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter les ceintures et les remplacer s'il y a lieu.
