The issue

On certain vehicles, unfavourable production tolerances in ignition switch components and premature wear and tear may have contributed to the rate of malfunction of the switch. Correction: Dealer will replace the ignition switch in affected vehicles with an improved switch.

Sur certains véhicules, des tolérances de production incorrectes au niveau des composants du commutateur d'allumage et l'usure prématurée qui s'ensuit peuvent contribuer à produire un taux de défaillance anormalement élevé du commutateur. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le commutateur d'allumage par un dispositif de conception nouvelle.
