The issue
On certain vehicles, fatigue cracks can initiate in the weld joining the bracket pin to its mounting flange on the fifth wheel assembly. Weld failures could lead to the loss of the pin and the potential separation of the fifth wheel top plate from its mounting structure without warning. Correction: Dealers will replace the bracket pins.

Sur certains véhicules, des fissures de fatigue peuvent se développer dans la soudure joignant le support de l'axe de la sellette d'attelage à sa bride de montage. Si la soudure se brise, l'axe peut tomber et le plateau d'accouplement de la sellette pourrait alors se détacher sans avertissement de sa structure de montage. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les supports d'axe des sellettes d'attelage.
