The issue
On certain vehicles, the springs of the foot-operated parking brake mechanism can rub against the main wiring harness. Damage to the wiring harness can lead to the failure of various electrical systems and, in extreme cases, to a fire beneath the instrument panel. Correction: Dealer will reroute the main wiring harness.

Sur certains véhicules, les ressorts du mécanisme du frein de stationnement pourraient frotter contre le faisceau de câbles principal. Si le faisceau de câbles était endommagé, divers systèmes électriques pourraient cesser de fonctionner et, dans les cas extrêmes, un incendie pourrait éclater sous le tableau de bord. Correction : Le concessionnaire devra faire passer le faisceau de câbles principal ailleurs.
