The issue

On certain motorhomes, the angle of the hoses from the hydraulic pump may allow contact with the positive stud on the starter. This could chafe the outer coating of the hose through to the wire braiding and results in arcing and eventual contact with hydraulic fluid which can ignite. Correction: Dealers will replace and/or reorient the hydraulic fittings at the pump and replace the hose as required.

Sur certaines autocaravanes, l'angle des tuyaux montés sur la pompe hydraulique pourrait permettre qu'un contact se fasse avec la borne positive du démarreur. Cela pourrait user la couche extérieure du tuyau jusqu'à la tresse du fil et provoquer la formation d'arcs électriques et un contact avec le liquide hydraulique, ce qui pourrait l'enflammer. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer ou réorienter les raccords hydrauliques à la pompe et remplacer le tuyau au besoin.
