The issue

On certain vehicles, the seat belt assemblies fail to meet the strength requirements of CMVSS 209. In the event of a crash, the buckle could release leaving the seat occupant un-restrained, possibly resulting in serious injury or death. Correction: AM-Safe Commercial Products will replace the seat belt buckles.

Sur certains véhicules, les ceintures de sécurité ne respectent pas les exigences de solidité de la NSVAC 209. En cas d'accident, la boucle pourrait se détacher, ce qui ferait en sorte que la personne assise sur le siège ne serait plus retenue et pourrait être blessée sérieusement et même tuée. Correction : AM-Safe Commercial Products devra remplacer la boucle des ceintures de sécurité.
