The issue

On certain vehicles, the camshaft position sensor may melt resulting in a burning smell and visible smoke, which may subsequently lead to the melting of the camshaft cover and camshaft position sensor wire harness. This could possibly cause an under hood fire. Correction: Dealers will replace the camshaft position sensor and install an additional fuse.

Sur certains véhicules, le capteur de position d'arbre à cames pourrait fondre, ce qui provoquerait une odeur de brûlé et de la fumée, et pourrait ensuite provoquer la fonte du couvercle d'arbre à cames et du faisceau de fils du capteur de position d'arbre à cames. IL se pourrait alors qu'un incendie éclate. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le capteur de position d'arbre à cames et monter un fusible supplémentaire.
