The issue
On certain vehicles, the Electronic Park Brake (EPB) may unintentionally apply the handbrake causing the vehicle to decelerate and in extreme cases, to lock-up the rear wheels. This condition can arise at any speed with or without illumination of the warning indicator lamps on the instrument cluster or the stop lamps. Correction: Dealers will replace the EPB module.

Sur certains véhicules, le frein de stationnement électronique pourrait appliquer par erreur le frein à main, ce qui provoquerait la décélération et, dans les cas extrêmes, le blocage des roues arrière. Ce problème pourrait survenir à n'importe quelle vitesse avec ou sans l'allumage des feux de freinage ou des voyants d'avertissement sur le groupe d'instruments.
