The issue

Certain motorhomes may have insufficient clearance in the area where the fuel line and frame cross member intersect. The cross member may wear into the fuel line and cause a leak which has the potential to ignite, resulting in personal injury and/or vehicle and property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect the fuel line for abrasion wear or damage, and pry the wiring support channel away from the line to provide additional clearance.

Sur certaines autocaravanes, il pourrait y avoir un manque d'espace à l'endroit où la canalisation de carburant et la traverse du châssis se croisent. La canalisation de carburant pourrait s'user contre la traverse et fuir. Le carburant qui s'échappe pourrait s'enflammer, ce qui provoquerait des blessures ou des dommages au véhicule et à des biens. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter la canalisation de carburant pour s'assurer qu'elle n'a pas été endommagée ou usée par abrasion; ils devront aussi éloigner le dispositif de soutien des fils de la canalisation à l'aide d'une barre levier afin d'augmenter le dégagement.
