The issue
On certain fifth wheel trailers the furnace intake tube may not be installed correctly. The air intake may draw air from inside the unit instead of fresh outside air, which can cause improper gas/air mixture and inefficient combustion. Also if the transition tube hits the furnace air intake tube end to end, instead of overlapping, the pressure can push the furnace intake tube into the blower housing/wheel which could result in a bind causing rubbing and possible failure. Correction: Dealers will inspect and correct as necessary.

Sur certaines roulottes à sellette, le tube d'admission de l'appareil de chauffage pourrait ne pas être posé correctement. L'alimentation en air pourrait aspirer de l'air de l'intérieur de l'unité au lieu d'air frais provenant de l'extérieur, ce qui pourrait causer un mélange gaz/air inadéquat et une combustion inefficace. De plus, si le tube de transition frappait le tube d'admission d'air d'extrémité à extrémité au lieu de le chevaucher, la pression pourrait pousser le tube d'admission dans la roue/le carter de la soufflante, ce qui pourrait le coincer sur place et causer un frottement et peut être même une défaillance. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront effectuer une inspection et apporter des corrections au besoin.
