The issue
On certain terminal tractors, the electrical wiring to the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) modulator valves from the Electronic Control Module (ECM) is incorrect. The wires to the "Exhaust" and "Hold" connections on the ABS modulator valves are reversed. In an anti-lock braking event, this will cause the ABS to malfunction. ABS performance will be degraded, increasing the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will install 4 modulator valve jumper harnesses.

Sur certains tracteurs de terminal, le branchement des fils électriques qui se rendent jusqu'aux modulateurs antiblocages et qui proviennent du module de commande électronique est incorrect. Les fils reliés aux raccords échappement et maintien des modulateurs antiblocages ont été intervertis. Lors d'une sollicitation des freins antiblocages, ce problème fera en sorte que les freins antiblocages fonctionneront mal. Comme les freins antiblocages fonctionneront moins bien, les risques d'accident seront accrus. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront poser 4 câbles volants de modulateur antiblocage.
