The issue
On certain motorhomes, a standard nut was used to clamp the intermediate steering shaft instead of a lock type nut. As a result, the nut could loosen, allowing the connection to separate resulting in a loss of steering control and a crash. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace the nut and bolt with locking-type hardware.

Sur certaines autocaravanes, un écrou standard a été utilisé pour serrer l'arbre de direction intermédiaire, au lieu d'un contre écrou. En conséquence, l'écrou pourrait se desserrer, ce qui permettrait au raccord de se détacher et causerait une perte de contrôle de la direction et un accident. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, le cas échéant, remplacer l'écrou et le boulon par du matériel bloquant
