The issue

On certain vehicles, the extension pipes attached to the "Aftertreatment Regeneration Device" (ARD) may develop a hole, and possibly allow heat and flame to escape during a regeneration of the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). This condition could result in a fire causing property damage. Correction: Dealers will affect repairs.

Sur certains véhicules, un trou pourrait se former dans les tuyau de rallonge fixés au dispositif de regénération après traitement; de plus, les rallonges pourraient permettre à la chaleur et aux flammes de s'échapper pendant une regénération du filtre à particules diesel. Cela pourrait provoquer un incendie et endommager des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront effectuer les réparations nécessaires.
