The issue
On certain trucks, the Aftertreatment Regeneration Device (ARD) may develop a hole, allowing heat and flame to escape during a regeneration of the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). This could result in a fire, causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the ARD body and, if necessary, upgrade the software.

Sur certains camions, un trou pourrait apparaître dans le dispositif de régénération après traitement et permettre à la chaleur et aux flammes de s'échapper pendant une régénération du filtre à particules diesel. Cela pourrait provoquer un incendie, endommager des biens matériels, blesser quelqu'un ou entraîner des pertes de vies. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le dispositif de régénération après traitement et, le cas échéant, mettre le logiciel à niveau.
