The issue
On certain motorcycles, the fuel pump control unit may be subject to water intrusion which, in time, will cause it to fail. Engine stalling would result in lost propulsion which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the rider's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the fuel pump control unit.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, l'unité de commande de la pompe à carburant pourrait être soumise à une infiltration d'eau qui, à la longue, en causerait la défaillance. Si le moteur calait, cela entraînerait une perte de propulsion qui, conjointement à la densité de la circulation, à l'état de la route et aux réactions du conducteur, pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, le cas échéant, remplacer l'unité de commande de la pompe à carburant.
