The issue
On certain motorcycles, the switches on the handlebars for both the direction indicator and the emergency engine-off-start functions may fail. If this happens, the directional indicator and/or the emergency engine-off-start functions may not work properly. Improper function of the direction indicators or sudden engine stalling may create the risk of a vehicle crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the handlebar switches.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, les interrupteurs des deux clignotants et du système d’arrêt d’urgence sur les poignées pourraient devenir défectueux et entraîner une mauvaise indication des virages ou une panne de moteur soudaine pouvant accroître les risques d’accident causant des dommages matériels, des blessures ou des décès. Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, le cas échéant, remplacer les interrupteurs du guidon.
