On certain motorcycles, the fuel tank mounting fasteners can work loose, allowing the bolts to slip toward the inboard side and contact the fork leg if the handlebar is turned a significant amount. This could limit handlebar travel range, affecting handling and maneuverability of the motorcycle, which could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect and tighten the fuel tank mounting bolts as per specifications.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, les écrous des boulons de fixation avant du réservoir de carburant peuvent se desserrer, ce qui laisse les boulons glisser vers le côté intérieur et venir en contact avec la jambe de fourche si le guidon est assez tourné. Cette situation pourrait limiter la plage de déplacement du guidon, affecter le comportement routier, la maniabilité de la motocyclette, et augmenter le risque de collision causant des dommages aux biens matériels, des blessures corporelles ou entraîner des pertes de vie. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et serrer les boulons de fixation du réservoir à carburant conformément aux spécifications.
