The issue
On certain buses, the main body power cables were routed in the area of an unprotected edge on the passenger's side inner-fender. Under certain conditions a power cable may contact the sharp edge. If undetected, continued contact could wear through the power cable's insulation potentially resulting in a short circuit. A short circuited power cable could result in a vehicle fire and injury to vehicle occupants. Correction: Dealers will inspect the cable for chafe damage and, if necessary, install a fender clip.

Sur certains autobus, les câbles d'alimentation principaux de la carrosserie passent près d'un bord non protégé sur l'aile intérieure de droite. Dans certaines conditions, un câble d'alimentation pourrait toucher au bord coupant. Si le problème n'était pas détecté, un contact continu pourrait user de part en part l'isolant du câble d'alimentation, ce qui pourrait provoquer un courtcircuit. Un câble d'alimentation court-circuité pourrait entraîner un incendie et blesser les occupants du véhicule. Correction :Les concessionnaires devront inspecter le câble pour voir s’il est usé par frottement, et, si nécessaire, poser un dispositif de fixation sur l’aile.
