The issue

On certain vehicles, one of the harness spade terminal connections to the chassis load center may become completely unseated. An unseated connection may result in a power loss to a portion of the vehicle's exterior lighting, potentially inhibiting the visibility of the operator and/or detection of the vehicle in certain conditions, which could increase the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will inspect the harness and, if necessary, re-seat the female connectors on the male spade terminals.

Sur certains véhicules, l'un des raccords à cosse fendue du faisceau de câbles reliés au centre de distribution du châssis pourrait se déloger complètement. Un raccord délogé pourrait causer une perte d'alimentation pour une partie de l'éclairage extérieur du véhicule, ce qui pourrait empêcher le conducteur de voir à l'extérieur ou empêcher les autres usagers de la route de détecter le véhicule dans certaines conditions, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter le faisceau de câbles et, si nécessaire, réasseoir les raccords femelles sur les cosses ouvertes mâles.
