The issue

On certain vehicles, stainless steel exhaust tips (part number 1K0 071 910 U), sold as over-the-counter accessories, can extend beyond the original length of the factory-installed exhaust pipes. Contact with warm exhaust tips could result in burn injuries. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the exhaust tips with updated versions.

Sur certains véhicules, des tuyaux d'échappement en acier inoxydable (numéro de pièce 1K0 071 910 U), vendues en tant qu'accessoires en vente libre, peuvent être plus longs que les tuyaux d'échappement posés en usine. Un contact avec des tuyaux d'échappement chauds pourrait causer des brûlures. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, le cas échéant, les remplacer par des tuyaux d'échappement d'une version à jour.
