The issue

On certain trucks, the low pressure fuel return line (between the #4 fuel injector and the fuel supply pump) may have been installed incorrectly during vehicle assembly. This could allow the hose to disconnect from the inline check valve/filter (part of the return line assembly), which would cause a fuel leak. Diesel fuel leakage may ignite on a hot engine surface and cause a fire, which could result in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will reroute the low pressure fuel return line.

Sur certains camions, la canalisation de retour du carburant à basse pression (entre l'injecteur à carburant 4 et la pompe d'alimentation en carburant) pourrait avoir été mal posée pendant le montage du véhicule. Cela pourrait permettre à la canalisation de se détacher du filtre/clapet de non-retour sur canalisation (qui fait partie de la canalisation de retour), ce qui causerait une fuite de carburant. Une fuite de diesel pourrait s'enflammer sur un moteur chaud et causer un incendie, ce qui pourrait endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront réacheminer la canalisation de retour du carburant à basse pression.
