The issue

On certain side-by-side vehicles, lower splines at the steering column to rack and pinion joint may not be sufficiently engaged. The splines could fail causing a loss of steering. This could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect spline engagement and replace the steering wheel shaft or steering column if necessary.

Sur certains véhicules côte à côte, les cannelures inférieures du raccord de la colonne de direction et du pignon et crémaillère pourraient ne pas être engagées suffisamment. Les cannelures pourraient faire défaut causant une perte de direction. Cela pourrait causer un accident, endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter l'engagement de la cannelure et remplacer l'arbre du volant ou la colonne de direction si nécessaire.
