The issue

On certain vehicles, the floor mats can curl when exposed to heat. A deformed mat could interfere with the driver when shifting his/her foot from one pedal to another. This could cause a delay in brake pedal application, which could increase stopping distance, possibly causing a crash resulting in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the vehicle’s four carpeted floor mats.

Dans certains véhicules, les tapis de plancher peuvent s'enrouler lorsqu'ils sont exposés à la chaleur. Un tapis déformé pourrait nuire au chauffeur lorsqu'il déplace son pied d'une pédale à l'autre. Ceci pourrait retarder l'application de la pédale de frein, ce qui pourrait augmenter les distances de freinage et causer un accident endommageant des biens matériels ou blessant quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le les quatre tapis de plancher du véhicule.
