The issue
On certain motorhomes, the bracket which secures the power steering gear to the chassis may develop cracks. This could allow the steering gear to partially detach from the chassis, which could result in a loss of steering control and a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, as necessary, replace the steering gear mounting bracket, or install a support bracket.

Sur certaines autocaravanes, le support qui fixe le boîtier de direction au châssis pourrait se fissurer. Cela pourrait permettre au boîtier de direction de se détacher partiellement du châssis, ce qui pourrait causer une perte de contrôle de la direction et un accident endommageant des biens matériels ou blessant quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, le cas échéant, remplacer le support de fixation du boîtier de direction, ou poser un support.
