The issue

On certain trucks equipped with the electronic fifth wheel jaw release system, incorrect air line routing could allow the fifth wheel jaw to release without driver input. This could result in a trailer separating from the truck, resulting in a possible hazard to other road users and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect air line routing and correct if necessary.

Sur certains camions munis du système de relâchement de mâchoire de sellette d'attelage électronique, un acheminement incorrect de la canalisation d'air pourrait permettre à la mâchoire de la sellette d'attelage de se détacher sans intervention du conducteur. Cela pourrait faire en sorte qu'une remorque se détache du camion, ce qui pourrait causer un danger pour les autres usagers de la route et augmenter les risques d'accident blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter l'acheminement de la canalisation d'air et le corriger si nécessaire.
