The issue
On certain motorcycles, a problem with the engine throttle valve control software could cause engine stalling. Engine stalling would result in a loss of motive power, which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the rider's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will update software.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, un problème avec le logiciel de commande du papillon des gaz du moteur pourrait faire caler le moteur. Si le moteur calait, cela entraînerait une perte de puissance motrice qui, en conjonction avec la densité de la circulation, l'état de la route et les réactions du conducteur, pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident endommageant des biens matériels ou blessant quelqu'un.
