The issue

On certain vehicles, the steering wheel fastener nut may have been insufficiently tightened during vehicle assembly. This could allow the steering wheel to become loose and slip in relation to the steering column shaft, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will re-torque the steering wheel nut.

Sur certains véhicules, l'écrou de fixation du volant pourrait ne pas avoir été suffisamment serré lors du montage du véhicule. Cela pourrait permettre au volant de se desserrer et de glisser par rapport à l'arbre de la colonne de direction, ce qui augmenterait les risques d'accident blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront resserrer l'écrou du volant.
