The issue

On certain vehicles, the primary or secondary stage of the driver’s airbag may not deploy during a crash (where deployment is warranted). Failure of an airbag to deploy correctly could increase the risk of personal injury to the seat occupant. Correction: Dealers will replace the steering wheel airbag coil. Note: This recall is superseded by recall 2014306.

Sur certains véhicules, l'étape principale ou l'étape secondaire du déploiement du coussin gonflable du conducteur pourrait ne pas se faire lors d'un accident (où le déploiement est nécessaire). Si le coussin gonflable ne se déployait pas correctement, cela pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures pour la personne assise sur le siège. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer la bobine du coussin gonflable du volant. Remarque : Le présent rappel est remplacé par le rappel 2014306.
