The issue

On certain vehicles, a defect in the transmission control switch could cause the transmission to shift to the neutral gear position without driver input, resulting in a loss of motive power. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace affected transmission control switches.

Sur certains véhicules, une défaillance du commutateur de commande de la transmission pourrait faire en sorte que la transmission passe au point mort sans l'intervention du conducteur, ce qui causerait une perte de puissance motrice. Cela pourrait augmenter le risque d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les commutateurs de commande de transmission touchés.
