The issue

On certain vehicles equipped with a no-idle heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) module, the electrical harness supplying power to the module may not be of sufficient size, which could cause a voltage drop in the harness and an increase in resistance and heating at the connector. This could cause a fire, potentially resulting in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a revised harness.

Sur certains véhicules munis d'un module de chauffage, de ventilation et de climatisation (CVC) qui fonctionne lorsque le moteur ne tourne pas, le faisceau de câbles qui envoie du courant électrique au module pourrait ne pas être assez gros, ce qui pourrait causer une chute de tension dans le faisceau et une augmentation de la résistance et de la chaleur au niveau du raccord. Cela pourrait causer un incendie, ce qui pourrait blesser quelqu'un ou endommager des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront poser un faisceau de câbles révisé.
