The issue

On certain vehicles, the left side front lower suspension arm may contain a defect that could result in the lower ball joint separating from the arm in the event of a severe impact, such as a pothole or other road imperfection. This could cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the left suspension arm.

Sur certains véhicules, le bras de suspension inférieur avant du côté gauche pourrait comporter un défaut qui pourrait causer le détachement du joint à rotule inférieur du bras en cas de collision importante comme une collision avec un nid­de­poule ou une autre imperfection de la route. Cela pourrait causer une perte de contrôle de la direction, ce qui augmente les risques d'un accident blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le bras de suspension du côté gauche.
