The issue

On certain vehicles, the driver's front seat may have been assembled with an incorrect seat track bracket. Driver seats with this condition may not be properly attached to the seat track, which could result in an audible buzz or rattle. In the event of a severe rear collision, a portion of the driver seat – i.e., the front outboard seat bracket – may disengage from the seat track, potentially increasing the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect, and if required, replace the drivers outboard front seat track hook bracket.

Sur certains véhicules, le siège du conducteur pourrait avoir été mal assemblé avec un support de rail de siège incorrect. Les sièges de conducteur touchés ne peuvent pas être bien fixés au rail de siège, ce qui pourrait produire un bourdonnement ou un cliquetis. En cas de collision arrière grave, une partie du siège du conducteur (support de siège extérieur avant) pourrait sortir du rail de siège, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, au besoin, remplacer le support à crochet de rail de siège extérieur avant du conducteur.
