The issue

Certain vehicles may not comply with Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS 101) – Location and Identification of Controls and Displays. These vehicles may have been manufactured with an odometer displaying imperial measurements instead of metric. Correction: Dealers will install a new speedometer with a metric odometer and the correct software.

Certains véhicules pourraient ne pas satisfaire à la norme de sécurité des véhicules automobiles du Canada (NSVAC) 101 – Emplacement et identification des commandes et des affichages. Ces véhicules pourraient avoir été fabriqués avec un odomètre qui affiche des valeurs impériales au lieu de valeurs métriques. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront installer un nouvel indicateur de vitesse comprenant un odomètre métrique et le bon logiciel.
