The issue

On one certain vehicle, the driver front airbag module (manufactured by TRW) may not have been properly welded during the manufacturing process. In the event of a crash, the air bag may not unfold properly during deployment, increasing the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the driver side airbag.

Sur certains véhicules, le module de coussin gonflable avant du conducteur (fabriqué par TRW) pourrait ne pas avoir été soudé correctement durant la fabrication. En cas d'accident, le coussin gonflable pourrait ne pas se déplier correctement pendant le déploiement, ce qui augmenterait les risques de blessures. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le coussin gonflable du conducteur.
