The issue

On certain vehicles, during the manufacturing process of pressing the seal cap onto the propeller shaft yoke, the seal cap may have been positioned incorrectly. This could result in the seal leaking transmission oil onto hot exhaust components, increasing the risk of fire resulting in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the propeller shaft assembly.

Sur certains véhicules, le capuchon d'étanchéité pourrait avoir été mal posé lors de l'étape de mise en place de ce dernier sur la fourche de l'arbre de transmission pendant la fabrication. Par conséquent, de l'huile à transmission pourrait s'écouler du capuchon d'étanchéité sur des composants chauds du système d'échappement, ce qui augmenterait les risques de déclenchement d'un feu pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer l'arbre de transmission.
