The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, the bolts that attach the driveshaft center support brace could loosen. If this happens, the front end of the driveshaft could separate. Safety Risk: A driveshaft that separates could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Subaru will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to clean the bolt mounting surfaces for the driveshaft center support brace and install new bolts.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, les boulons qui fixent le support central de l'arbre d'entraînement pourraient se desserrer. Si cela se produisait, l'extrémité avant de l'arbre d'entraînement pourrait se détacher. Risques pour la sécurité : Un arbre d'entraînement qui se détache pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Subaru doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire nettoyer les surfaces de montage des boulons du support central de l'arbre d'entraînement et pour faire installer de nouveaux boulons.
