The issue

On certain vehicles equipped with Cummins ISB or ISL engines, the fuel filter shell and nut plate could separate, causing a fuel leak and also causing the engine to stall. Stalling would result in a loss of motive power, increasing the risk of a crash resulting in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Cummins-authorized dealers will replace the fuel filter.

Sur certains véhicules munis d'un moteur Cummins ISB ou ISL, l'écrou d'ancrage et la coque du filtre à carburant pourraient se détacher, ce qui causerait une fuite de carburant et le calage du moteur. Le calage du moteur résulterait en une perte de puissance motrice, ce qui augmenterait les risques d'un accident qui pourrait blesser quelqu'un ou endommager des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires autorisés par Cummins devront remplacer le filtre à carburant.
