The issue
Certain vehicles may have been assembled with improperly manufactured rear tie rod lock nuts. This could cause the rear tie rods to become loose resulting in a change in the alignment, affecting steering control and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the defective rear tie rod lock nuts.

Sur certains véhicules, la biellette de direction pourrait avoir été fixée au moyen d’écrous autobloquants défectueux. Cela pourrait entraîner un dégagement de la biellette, un changement d’alignement et une perte de maîtrise des véhicules, ainsi qu’accroître les risques de collision causant des blessures et/ou des dommages matériels. Correction : les détaillants doivent remplacer les écrous défectueux.
