The issue

On certain vehicles, improper casting of the engine block may cause the engine to seize/lock up. A seizing engine may lead to a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Affected vehicles will be bought back from the owner. If the owner refuses, a replacement engine will be installed.

Un moulage inadéquat du bloc-moteur de certains véhicules pourrait causer le grippage du moteur, ce qui pourrait entraîner une perte de maîtrise du véhicule et augmenter les risques de collision pouvant causer des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les véhicules visés seront rachetés ou le moteur sera remplacé, au choix du propriétaire.
