The issue

On certain Vantage Mobility International wheelchair accessible vehicles built on Chrysler Pacifica platforms, the rear wheel brake lines may have been inverted during the conversion process. This could cause an incorrect application of the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) under certain circumstances, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and re-route the brake lines as necessary.

Dans certains véhicules accessibles aux fauteuils roulants Vantage Mobility International construits sur des plates-formes de Chrysler Pacifica, les conduites de frein de roue arrière pourraient avoir été inversées lors du processus de conversion. Par conséquent, le système de freinage antiblocage (ABS) pourrait être mal appliqué dans certaines circonstances, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter les conduites de frein, ainsi que les réacheminer au besoin.
