The issue

Certain travel trailers equipped with an exterior Flame King cook top may have a corrugated fiber board protector for the propane regulator. When the cook top is in use, the burner flame could invert due to an oversized pan being used, or a breeze, which may cause the corrugated fiber board protector to burn, and potentially catch fire, which could increase the risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the corrugated fiber board protector and the burner top for possible damage. If no damage is present, the existing fiber board regulator cover will be replaced with a metal cover. If there is damage to the corrugated fiber board protector found, dealers will replace the cook top.

Sur certaines caravanes classiques équipées d'une surface de cuisson extérieure de marque Flame Kingle, le protecteur du régulateur de propane pourrait être en carton ondulé. Lors de l'utilisation de la surface de cuisson, la flamme du brûleur pourrait être inversée, en raison de l'utilisation d'une casserole de trop grande dimension ou d'un courant d'air, et faire brûler le protecteur en carton ondulé, qui pourrait s'enflammer. Cela pourrait augmenter les risques d'incendie pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter le protecteur en carton ondulé et la surface de cuisson pour voir s'ils sont endommagés. S'il n'y a aucun dommage, le protecteur en carton ondulé devra être remplacé par un protecteur en métal. Si le protecteur en carton ondulé est endommagé, les concessionnaires devront remplacer la surface de cuisson.
