The issue

Issue: On certain travel trailers, the wiring for the Wi-Fi switch may not have proper circuit protection. If a short circuit occurs, the wiring could overheat and melt. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats or melts could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Keystone RV will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to remove the Wi-Fi switch and add a 7.5 amp fuse to the wiring. Keystone advises that the Wi-Fi switch should not be turned on until the recall repairs are completed.

Problème : Sur certaines caravanes classiques, le câblage de l'interrupteur Wi-Fi pourrait ne pas être correctement protégé. Si un court-circuit se produit, le câblage pourrait surchauffer et fondre. Risques pour la sécurité : Un câblage qui surchauffe ou fond pourrait créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Keystone RV doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'apporter leur caravane chez un concessionnaire pour qu'il retire l'interrupteur Wi-Fi et ajoute un fusible de 7,5 ampères au câblage. Keystone conseille de ne pas allumer l'interrupteur Wi-Fi avant que les réparations de rappel n'aient été effectuées.
