The issue

On certain vehicles, the fasteners securing the airbag module to the steering wheel may not be installed to specification. In the event of crash warranting deployment of the driver's frontal airbag, the airbag may not function correctly, which could increase the risk of injury. Correction: Daimler Trucks of North America Service Facilities will inspect the fasteners and ensure they are tightened to specification.

Sur certains véhicules, les dispositifs qui fixent le module de coussin gonflable dans le volant pourraient ne pas avoir été posés conformément à la spécification. En cas d'un accident nécessitant le déploiement du coussin gonflable frontal du conducteur, le coussin gonflable pourrait ne pas fonctionner correctement, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures. Correction : Daimler Trucks of North America Service Facilities inspectera les dispositifs de fixation et s'assurera qu'ils sont serrés conformément aux spécifications.
