The issue
On certain vehicles, the pin and retaining clip that join the brake pedal to the master cylinder may have been installed incorrectly. This could allow the separation of the brake pedal from the master cylinder, resulting in a complete loss of brake function and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect the connection between the brake pedal and master cylinder and repair as necessary.

Sur certains véhicules, la tige et l'agraffe de retenue qui joignent la pédale de freinage et le maître-cylindre peuvent avoir été mal posées. Cela pourrait permettre le détachement de la pédale de freinage du maître-cylindre, ce qui causerait une perte totale de la capacité de freinage et augmenterait les risques d'un accident blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels.
